Notice of Election – The Hammond Fire District will be holding its annual election of Fire Commissioners on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Hammond Fire Hall located at 300 Lake Street, Hammond, NY.
This is to elect 2 Commissioners. One Commissioner for a five year term starting on 1/1/2026 and ending on 12/31/2030. The other Commissioner position is for a 2 year term starting on 1/1/2026 and ending on 12/31/2027. Any person interested in running for either of these positions must submit a completed election petition that includes 25 signatures from registered voters for the Town of Hammond by November 19th, 2025.
