FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE
Notice of Election – The Hammond Fire District will be holding its annual election of Fire Commissioners on Tuesday, December 8th, 2026 from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Hammond Fire Hall located at 300 Lake Street, Hammond, NY. This is to elect 1 Commissioner. One Commissioner for a five year term starting on 1/1/2027 and ending on 12/31/2031. Any person interested in running for this position must submit a completed election petition that includes 25 signatures from registered voters for the Town of Hammond by November 18th, 2026.
